My Butt Is Big+Deals and Bargains

I knew that I loved Nike for a reason.  They picked an awesome ad campaign that celebrates women like me with big butts, hips, and thighs.  Now, I'd love to have mine as toned as the ladies in these campaigns, but I know that my aforementioned areas will never achieve a Kate Moss-like straight line.  They will always be nice and round.  I'm ok with that.  Looks like others are catching on too.  Take a look at their new ads.  You can click each ad to get a better view.

  
 
 

Deals and Bargains   

We always like to pass on good info to our Blushing ladies.  I receive rouge magazine in the mail.  It's packed full of great info and best of all COUPONS.  I can't remember the last time that I paid full price for a Proctor & Gamble beauty product. Between their coupons and Walgreens having 2 for 1 sales.  I make out like a bandit.

It never even occurred to me to go to the website.  It's full of great info as well and you can subscribe to the mag.  Check it out by clicking the mag below.

 

 

Also, I don't know about you, but part of my main motivation for getting the Sunday paper is the coupons.  But wouldn't it be great to know which coupons are going to be in the Sunday paper before it arrives.  Since most grocery store sales change mid-week, you would know whether to wait to get that extra item, or to go ahead and grab it.  What if there was a $1 coupon coming in the paper while the store is doubling.  Well look no further.  I found this great link this week and couldn't wait to share.  It's the Sunday Coupon Preview website.  You can submit your email address to be alerted every time they update the site or you can just take a look without subscribing.  I don't know if this will list all coupons to a tee.  But It's great to have some insight.  Take a look 

 

 

 

Bargain Replacement + A year already?

Hello All

Yes, I know that we've been gone for a while.  Things have been so crazy for the both of us.  It hasn't stopped the usual discussions and debates, so we'll spend the next couple of days getting you caught up on our wonderful finds and discussions that we'd like to share with our favorite friends, YOU!

I got a great little mag in the mail the other day called Rouge.  It's put out by Proctor and Gamble.  The recent money crunch has encouraged me to experiment with more drug store make-up than department store make-up. 

There are some things that i'll never part with, like my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer.  But now, I'm trying more drugstore concealers, lipsticks, and shadows.  And most drugstores, like Rite-Aid, will let you return them if you don't like them.

Well, Cover Girl has a "Make Up Match" site.
    

This site allows you to put in your department store brand and shade, and it'll give you a comparable Cover Girl Shade.  Everything is not loaded, but give it a try, you may just find a new brand, and save a load of money in the process. 

I recommend purchasing it at a store where you can return it if you don't like it.  In fact, I recommend that for all new things.  Let me know how you like it.
